At DI Designs, I create covers or full jackets for poetry, fiction, essays, and graphic literature. I use a proven author and editor questionnaire to establish important elements, tones, and details of the cover and create a package of options.
Interiors, unlike covers, are meant to disappear behind the reading experience. A great typeset should not be distracting or attention grabbing. Whether the work is a full-color graphic novel, lineated poetry, or standard prose, the content should shine.
Hardcovers and dust jackets are great, but sometimes books need to evolve. Not all designers can come back to adjust their designs for new editions or formats. If scans are available, I can create alternative trim sizes, special editions and features, and alternative formats.
